Food#1. Berries
Berries such as Blueberries, Strawberries, and Blackberries contains high amounts of antioxidants. Antioxidants act as body's body guard. It kills free radicals and keep cells safe and healthy. It also protects the skin form the sun's harmful UV rays. Antioxidants are also found in vegetables and other fruits.

Food#2. Fish
Fishes has omega fatty acids and vitamins are responsible in maintaining healthy cell membranes. The stronger and healthier the cell membranes are, the better cells can hold moisture. That means, a healthier and younger looking skin. Not just the skin, it also helps in lowering the risk of heart diseases and improves the heart's condition.

Food#3. Low-Fat Dairy
Dairy products such as Yogurt and Milk are rich in Vitamin A which acts as an antioxidant to neutralize harmful elements in skin. As a result, it will prevent wrinkles and will keep the skin youthful and glowing. It also helps in intestinal health for normal and good digestion.

Food#4. Oils
Healthy oils, such as olive oil, can give your skin its needed moisture. For just 2 tablespoons of olive oil to your diet, your skin will be properly lubricated and it will be healthy.

Food#5. Sweet potatoes
Vitamins A and C and Beta-carotene, a good formula for beautiful skin, is found in sweet potatoes. These said nutrients can help retain skin moisture and prevent dryness.

Food#6. Water
Water keeps the body and skin hydrated. It means:
Hydrated skin = Moisturized skin
Dehydrated skin = Dry skin

Foods that will help you stay healthy inside and out


Healthy and clear skin, glowing eyes, and shiny hair are the most common signs of good nutrition. Being healthy begins with the food we eat. So start the day eating healthy foods.

Potatoes: They are packed of good nutrients for the brain and the body such as Vitamin C, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B6, Folate, Iron, and Potassium. It is bursting with vitamins and minerals! The best thing about it is, it's a fat free and a low calorie food! Absolutely a good source of fiber! Thus, it is really a healthy food.

Vitamin A is one of the most important vitamin for the body. It acts as a body protection and barrier from infections and plays a vital role in maintaining good vision and healthy skin.
Foods rich with Vitamin A: Cheese, Eggs, Butter, Margarine, Liver

Fruits and vegetables are all natural food, loaded with vitamins and minerals such as vitamins A & C, fiber, iron, potassium, etc. Eat at least 9 servings of fruits and vegetables a day.

Milk and Dairy Products such as yoghurt and cheese are good sources of calcium which will make the bone strong and healthy.

Last but not the least, Water. Remember, we need to drink 6-7 glasses of water a day because it helps us to avoid dehydration. According to what I've read, water can also help make hair silky, soft, and shiny.
